About Chip Grose, Your Life Coach
Maine Roots. Military Leadership. Personal Purpose.
My Approach
Coaching is a collaborative space where your experience matters. Together, we can clarify what's most important, build practical goals, and keep moving forward with steady accountability. You know your life best, so you lead and I ask the questions. Whether you are leading a team, changing careers, or working toward greater mental well-being, I offer personal attention, thoughtful questions, and support grounded in real-life experience.
Find direction. Build resilience. Move forward.

I'm a Maine native, born in Bath and raised in Wiscasset, where I graduated from Wiscasset High School. I grew up facing hard things early, including being bullied as a child, and that taught me to notice the people who are carrying more than they show.
I spent 22 years in the US Army, starting as a rifleman and leading soldiers at every level since, from team leader to first sergeant. One lesson stayed with me: complacency kills. For me, that means staying vigilant and active in every area of life, not only on the job.
When I left the service, I went through a major transition of my own and had to build a new direction from the ground up. I came home to Maine because I missed my family. I'm grateful for their support, and for my two nephews, who make it easy to remember what matters. My faith keeps me grounded.
That's why I coach. I work with people from all walks of life, from CEOs to front-line workers, on leadership, career development, and mental well-being.
My approach is curious. I ask questions and let you lead, because you know your life better than I do.
